Bckyrd is a creator commerce and merchandising company built to professionalize how merchandise is designed, produced, and scaled in India. The company was founded by Lalit Krishna and Kislay Singh, who met at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ranchi, and went on to build and operate merchandising businesses for institutions such as IIM Bangalore, IIM Ranchi, and other leading campuses.

That experience exposed the operational gaps in how merchandise is typically executed: inconsistent quality, fragmented supply chains, and zero long-term brand thinking. Bckyrd exists to fix that. The company handles the entire stack: product design, development, manufacturing, and fulfillment, so creators and organizations can focus on their brand while we handle execution.

Bckyrd is being built as infrastructure, not a print shop. The goal is simple: create reliable, scalable, high-quality merchandise businesses for creators and brands, without the usual chaos and compromises.
